Joke's on you, Allairavar! Lalli is used to the night shift! Or: Lalli readily agrees to everything, not even thinking to complain about the, uh, terrible hours. It's just like being home, you know... just like being home. He's also spent the first few weeks of his stay mentally mapping the city, which is why it only takes him a minute or so to memorize his new route. Does he need a map? Of course he doesn't need a map, he'll insist. He never carries maps.
As for the rest: Lalli picks up the sight and aural shields relatively easily, although it will be a good week or two before he actually perfects them. It's fine, though; he's used to being stealthy, so he sticks to the shadows, watches out for any and all signs of trouble that Allairavar explicitly told him about, and summons the appropriate people when needed. All in all, he'll handle his new job... incredibly (maybe surprisingly?) seriously. He'll relay information succinctly, but professionally; he'll always do what's asked of him; he'll stay late/come in early as needed, without complaint, because that's just what he's used to. He won't make friends, but the worst people will say about him is that he's quiet and/or weird.
He'll also still try to come to Allairavar's morning lessons? He might sneak in late, and he may doze off if things get a bit slow, but he'll be there. Not to, like, suck up to Allairavar, though; he couldn't be a kiss-ass if he tried, but learning Craft is... important. For various reasons.
