On the day that Takame comes to find Allairavar, the Master of the Guard seems troubled. He speaks to two of the First Circle in sharp, direct words, stating without leaving room for argument that will help guard the docks including landen vessels. The two men do not look pleased by Allairavar's declaration, but they're smart enough to not argue - at least not where Allairavar can hear the ineffective grumbling.

Turning around, Allairavar nods to Takame and waves him closer.

"What can I do for you?" He asks while walking towards the door leading out to the small garden by the residence. Always in motion is Allairavar. Rumor has it that you know Allairavar is sleeping only because he's standing still for more than five seconds. In the garden, Allairavar begins clearing away rocks with Craft, but does not seem to expect Takame to join him.

Listening to Takame's offer, he does nod. "I'd be delighted. The docks are of particular concern right now, but that will change once the herd animals start to fatten up." If that happened at all, his tone seems to say.

He asks that Takame take up one of the early shifts when it's still mostly dark outside with the explanation that Allairavar also patrols during that time. If Takame still has problems with shielding with his Jewel, Allairavar will be more than happy to provide further instruction, including on how to layer shields.

"Layering might not stop someone of a darker Jewel, but it sure as hell helps against those damned Breakers." His lips curl back in a snarl at the mention of that piece of landen technology.
