One sailor says there's eerie happenings along the riverbanks. Strange sounds in the night. It's not animals. No animals make the sounds the sailors hear. But no one's seen the source of the sounds, either. If the ships drop anchor for the night, there's nothing in the reeds in the morning, and no one's foolish enough to go looking in the dark. The sounds start about half a mile out of the city and stop another half mile out from there.
